15 people from around Southern Africa just completed an AIDSLink Facilitators' Training in Mamelodi, South Africa. They came from many nations, representing existing and potential AIDS ministries in Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi and South Africa.

 

Many testified to the transformation that was happening in their hearts.

"HIV and AIDS .... presents a tremendous opportunity. It holds a mirror to us and asks us to examine whether we are really people of grace and truth, or simply modern pharisees," stated one participant.

Another realised, "I cannot continue keeping all this information to myself, knowing that it can change someone's life."

For the participants the challenge now begins as they return to their place of ministry equipped to scale-up or begin to implement HIV and AIDS into their work.
